Netizn Terms of Service

Welcome to Netizn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Netizn mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Netizn, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with Netizn, that you accept these Terms, and that you agree to comply with them. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

3. Your Account

Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the community.

4. User Content

License: By posting content, you grant Netizn a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, and translate your content.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Marketplace and Shops

Shop Ownership: Users may create "Shops" to list products and services. Shop owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, fulfillment of orders, and compliance with local laws.
Subscriptions: Certain shop features may require a paid subscription processed via our third-party payment provider.
Transactions: Netizn provides a platform for discovery but is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers unless explicitly stated. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
Analytics: We provide shop owners with insights and analytics regarding their shop's performance.

6. Health and Wellness Features

Informational Purposes Only: All Netizn's health features (steps, activity tracking, health scores) and AI-powered tools are for informational and motivational purposes only.
Not Medical Advice: These features are NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider.
Emergency Assistance: Our emergency features are tools to assist in communication and do not guarantee emergency response. In a life-threatening emergency, always contact local emergency services directly.

7. AI Features

AI Responses: Our Service includes AI-powered interactions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect or biased. Use AI recommendations at your own discretion.
Prohibited Use: You may not use our AI tools to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any laws or regulations.
Post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or incites violence.
Harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
Use automated scripts to collect information or interact with the Service.

The Service, including its logos, UI design, and original content (excluding user content), is the exclusive property of Netizn Labs LTD and its licensors.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

"As Is": The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
No Warranty: We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Netizn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
